The Corvette Success Story!

Hey guys! Luke here. I HAD to drop everything I was doing today to email you a story. Read through this, I know it’s long…but I’m sooooo excited about it, and you’re not going to believe it. A video case study and interview about this will be posting soon.

As you are all well aware, I’m getting ready to launch my spacemillions.com social network marketing course. In doing so, I have had the chance to get some advice from some of the largest and most successful marketers on the planet.

The ONE THING that EVERYONE has told me so far is that I need to prove that my system can work for the ordinary guy. Not some Harvard marketing grad, or a tech expert that can write code and cluster servers.

So, I set out to find a few test subjects…and I failed miserably!!!! Well, let me clear it up a bit. I succeeded in leading them to the water, they took a sip, and then ran off. Let me explain:

I had already shown a family member and a couple of friends the basics. They had some success, but nobody really took the initiative to come back to me and say, ok, I’ve had some success on a small scale I’m ready to do this thing. Show me everything.

Unfortunately for them, they aren’t necessarily the ambitious type. It blew my mind that none of them really were interested in taking it to the next step. In fact, one of them was making over $1500 / month in his spare time but just quit doing it.

He said it got to be too much work. HUH??? He was working an extra 2 hours per week if that. Over $700 per hour…yet at his day job he makes around $25/hr.

I was blown away by the outright attempt to self-sabotage.

мебели стара загораI was really discouraged by this. I thought…great. I have a system that works. When I say works, I don’t mean just brings in a couple extra grand per month, I mean a system that can literally change your life. BUT…nobody was willing to put in a couple of hours per day to change their life? Even after they were making some money right away.

I thought I would have a really difficult time proving that an average Joe can do this, because the average Joe is just plain lazy and doesn’t really want success. They just want to watch the newest episode of Everybody Loves Raymond or whatever.

Well, luckily, if you are a member of my list you probably aren’t the average Joe anyway. You are actually interested in having some success and not watching TV. I say, have your success now, so that you can retire and watch all the TV you want in 3 years.

Now to the story….

So, I had a gig with my band a while ago and before we started to play an acquaintance approached me.

He said, “Hey man, I have to talk to you. I just got a new job managing a clothing store at the mall, and I absolutely HATE it. I was trying other business ideas on my own when I simply ran out of money and had to get some kind of income coming in. I know that you work for yourself and I want that. Mostly, I want to drive a car like yours (as he laughed) What do you do exactly?”

I told him I made money online, but if he really was interested I would teach him how to make some money with myspace. He was interested and we setup a time for him to come over.

At that meeting, I knew I had to pull out all the stops to get this guy making some big bucks. I needed some good testimonials to prove my system works! lol

Anyway, we ended up having two meeting that next week and a full Sunday together. I just poured over everything I could feed him about what to do and how to do it. I told him that I would show him what to do, but I couldn’t do it for him. The only reason I was showing him for free was because I needed to prove I could teach the system and it was repeatable.

So, he really took the bull by the horns and ran with it. In his very first month he made over $800. The next month he did close to $4,000, and it has grown significantly ever since. How much has he made?

Well, I got a call from him and I could hear the excitement in his voice. He wanted to know if I was going to be home for the next few minutes because he wanted to come by and show me something.

I said I would be waiting. A few minutes later he comes to the door with a huge smile on his face. He gave me a big hug and said, I got one! Thanks!

I was like what are you talking about you goof ball? Stop hugging me! lol

He said come out here and take a look. So, as I stepped out of the door, there it was. A corvette, almost identical to mine…but maroon. I couldn’t believe it.

The first thing I said was, maroon? I thought I showed you how to make enough money to get a better color than maroon! haha

Anyway, because of the systems that I showed him, he got to buy the car he wanted. He never expected to be able to get one so quickly that’s for sure. It made me feel awesome. As selfish as that sounds…I felt really good seeing him so pumped about the ability to get a car he always wanted…because of me.

Alright, enough jibber. I couldn’t stop typing, I’m just pretty excited about this. So, there will be a video interview with him about his success posting to the blog soon. I just couldn’t wait to tell you guys so I had to do a text update.
